Olivia Attwood-Dack says she delayed her wedding to ex-Rovers player Bradley Dack as his crutches were not “aesthetically pleasing”.

The former Love Island star also revealed that she did not invite children to her wedding and opted not to have bridesmaids.

Appearing on Loose Women Olivia explained why the couple, who got engaged in 2019, delayed their wedding twice citing Bradley’s Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury as one reason.

Olivia said: “We cancelled once because of Covid and the second time Brad tore his ACL and he had to have surgery.

“I was like ‘I love you but I just don’t want the crutches if we can avoid it'”.

Panelist Colleen Nolan said: “It [was] going to ruin the pictures”.

Olivia said: “It’s going to ruin [pictures], it’s not going to be aesthetically pleasing and it’s not fun for him to recover from surgery and get married.”

The couple also banned children from their wedding so the adults at the party could relax. Olivia said this rule “went down really well.”

She said: “We haven’t got kids and if we haven’t got our own kids there I don’t really want anyone else’s kids there.

“A lot of my friends said they got to let their hair down. There isn’t anything for kids at weddings it’s boring.

“If you want to have a drink and let your hair down you don’t want to be worried about your child."

The couple also decided not to have bridesmaids.

“It is really political,” she told the Loose Women panel. “Myself and Brad and decided we wanted an even number so [we had an even number of bridesmaids and groomsmen for aesthetic purposes].

“If I get everyone in who would expect to be a bridesmaid it was just going to be so many.

“I can buy 10 dresses or get myself a piece of jewellery,” she joked.

Olivia also discussed the possibility of re-entering the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here jungle this year, after being taken out for medical reasons last year.

She said: “I got really unlucky with some routine medical examinations.

"When I got to the hospital I started panicking even though I felt fine. I got there and they tested everything and it was all at a normal level.

“It is so frustrating as the hospital said everything was fine.

“We have had chats [about going back in]. I was gutted [to leave] and it has always been a dream of mine to do the show, so when I finally got in it was huge.”

Olivia and Bradley, who got married in June, have appeared in ITVBe show Olivia Marries Her Match which follows the couple every step of the way in the lead up to their big day.

Bradley was a first team player with Blackburn Rovers at the time of filming.

Pictures from the show feature Olivia in her stunning lace-sleeved gown created by designer Galia Lahav, that reportedly cost £30,000 according to a national newspaper.
