A MAJOR celebration of the Hacienda, the Manchester nightclub which defined a generation will be held in the city in December.

FAC51 The Hacienda has revealed details of a huge homecoming event to be held at the Depot Mayfield which will see live performances and DJ sets performed across five rooms at the all-day event.

Stone Rose frontman Ian Brown will bring his live show to the event and also playing live will be Techno legends Leftfield, dance acts Inner City and Soul II Soul and Factory Records favourite A Certain Ratio.

The event sees a mix of the very best international DJs alongside The Hacienda’s regulars. David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Dimitri From Paris, Todd Terry and Kevin Saunderson all return to FAC51 where they have a longstanding relationship having played legendary sets at the original club while from the UK Norman Jay has also been added to the line up.

A major attraction will be Mike Pickering and Graeme Park joining forces for a special back-to-back set reuniting the team that helped shape The Hacienda.

Graeme Park said: “I’m already beyond excited about The Hacienda returning to Depot Mayfield this December. Last year’s event was absolutely epic and the line-up this time promises to make this another huge party.

"I’m also looking forward to DJ-ing with Mike Pickering for the first time since April 2022. So come on then Manchester! You will not be disappointed.”

He said: “After a wonderful occasion last year and on our previous visits, we are delighted to reaffirm that The Hacienda’s lifelong legacy is still alive and kicking.”

This year’s event will be the fourth time an all-day even will have been held at Depot Mayfield.
