A COACH manufacturer has announced a £15.95million take over of a rival.
Blackburn-based Darwen Holdings Plc has struck a deal to acquire Jamesstan Investments Ltd, holding company of the Optare Group.
The deal is subject to existing shareholder approval.
The company has also announced its intention to raise approximately £16million through the issue of 40 million placing shares at a cost of 40p each.
