Firefighters were called to a blaze in Clayton-le-Moors last night (June 11).
Fire crews were called to Blackburn Road at around 8pm. It is the second time in the last week that a fire has broken out in the road.
Two fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn were in attendance and helped to tackle the blaze, which involved a shipping container at a commercial premises.
Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for approximately 10 minutes.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “At 7.58pm on June 11, two fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a fire involving a shipping container at a commercial premises on Blackburn Road, Clayton-le-Moors.
“Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for approximately 10 minutes.”

Last week 10 fire engines, one aerial ladder platform, and the drone team were called to a blaze at Junction 7 Business Park on Blackburn Road.
Fire crews spent hours tackling the huge blaze.
