*UPDATE: The road has now reopened*
The M65 has been closed between Accrington and Blackburn due to a crash
The westbound carriageway is closed between junction 7 at Accrington and junction 6 at Blackburn.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance are both in attendance.
The road had previously been closed in both directions between junction 5 (Shadsworth) and junction 6 (Blackburn) due to a police incident.

An AA Traffic spokesperson said: "Delays of seven minutes on M65 Westbound between J7 A6185 Hyndburn Road (Rishton / Accrington) and J5 A6077 (Guide / Shadsworth). Average speed ten mph.
"Road blocked and stationery traffic due to police incident on M65 both ways between J5 A6077 (Guide/Shadsworth) and J6 A6119 Whitebirk Drive (Blackburn/Whitebirk Roundabout)."
The road has been blocked since around 2.25pm.
