A Blackburn Rovers legend is coming to talk about his career – and you could meet him.

Alan Shearer is coming to King George’s Hall in Blackburn on February 9 to speak with Sky Sports host Pete Graves.

Tickets have gone on sale today (June 2) and are already selling fast.

Platinum VIP tickets are selling out, priced at £278, which would give you early access at 6.15pm and allow you to meet Shearer, get a professionally taken photograph with him which will be printed and framed on the night; a drinks reception; you can bring an item for Alan Shearer to sign; and enjoy prime seating.

The advert for the show reads: “Alan Shearer's journey in the top level of English football is the stuff of legends.

“From Southampton to Blackburn Rovers, where he reigned as one of Europe's most prolific goalscorers and claimed the 1994–95 Premier League title, to his triumphant return to hometown club Newcastle United for a then-world record transfer fee of £15 million.

“Shearer's impact extended beyond goals, leading Newcastle to the 1998 and 1999 FA Cup finals and etching his name as the club's all-time leading scorer.
