A driver who was travelling at more than 100mph was found to be drug driving when they were stopped by police.
The driver of the black BMW 2 Series was stopped at Lancaster Services after being followed by an unmarked police car driving eratically and way above the speed limit.
Once stopped, the driver failed a drug wipe for cannabis and his passenger was found to be in possession of the drug.
A police spokesperson said: "This BMW was stopped at Lancaster Services after being followed by an unmarked police car driving eratically and in excess of 100mph.
"The driver failed a DrugWipe for cannabis and his passenger was also in possession of cannabis."
The pair were arrested.
