YOUTHS have been warned away from a derelict Accrington factory after a spate of arson attacks.
Firefighters were called out to the former shopfitter's works in Riding Street at 9pm yesterday, after vandals had set fire to part of the building.
Watch manager Liam Barker said: "We have had numerous incidents of kids starting fires there. So far, none has been very serious and no-one has been injured, but these fires can spread very quickly and these children are really putting themselves at risk.
"We are now working with the council to try to seal off the building so we can prevent this happening again."
