A bakery in Nelson has reopened its doors after three months following a full shop refurbishment.
Farmhouse Biscuits, a factory shop on Brook Street which specialises in biscuits, closed in mid-January so refurbishments could be carried out.
The shop opened last week with a completely new look.
A spokesperson said: “We have a brand-new image while capturing our heritage.
“Discover our carefully selected gifting area, perfect for treating somebody special and of course, take advantage of seasonal promotions, we do of course still have your favourite broken biscuits on sale!
“So come along and stock up on all of your favourites.”
On their opening day and dozens of people could be seen queuing to get inside the shop and look at the newly refurbished site.
A spokesperson for Farmhouse Biscuits said: “We are delighted to re-open our newly refurbished factory shop.
"Our doors first opened to the local community over 40 years ago, selling bags of loose biscuits and end of line runs from the bakery.
“Our new shop showcases our extensive gifting range, along with the end of line favourites.
“So, whether you’re looking to treat someone special from our gift range or picking up your favourite bag of loose biscuits we have something for everyone.
“Don’t miss out, visit our new store and indulge with your favourite biscuits today.”
The family-owned business has been baking biscuits since 1962.
The McIvor family relocated from the farm to the premises in Nelson in 1978, and we have been baking and distributing biscuits across the world ever since.
