Not impressed with the line up for Glastonbury this year? Have no fear; just make your way to Barnoldswick Town Square on the 21st JUNE 2008 To take part in an out doors mid summer music event festival !!!
The event has been organized by Barnoldswick and West Craven Chamber of Trade ,with many members giving up their time and offering their skills in the hope that the event will be the first of many to put Barnoldswick on the map.
Local busineses such as Event Staging have kindly donated a stage for the event,the proprietor of the Coffee Corner has designed the eye catching posters,Eco Music in the true spirit of the event has donated an electric guitar which which will be available in a raffle(tickets will be on sale in many of the local shops in the run up to the event and will be available on the day)and many of the local businesses will of course working behind the scenes to make for what we hope will be a truly successful day.
The event kicks of at 1pm and will wind down at 8pm with a range of music from local folk and rock bands,So come along to BARNOLDSWIICK to celebrate the summer Solstice what ever the weather.
