A man is in a serious condition after being found unconscious at an address in Billington today (April 19).
There were reports of police helicopters, ambulances and police cars at an address on Longworth Road.
Police say they were called to the address shortly after 12.30pm.
A man, in his 20s, was found unconscious. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called by the ambulance service at shortly after 12.30pm today (April 19) to a report a man had been found unresponsive at an address on Longworth Road in Billington.
“Emergency services attended and the man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.”
The North West Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
