POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a Barnoldswick teenager was punched in the face on the bus.
The 16-year-old was left with bruising to her face after the unprovoked attack which took place as the bus pulled into Nelson bus station.
A woman started arguing with the teenager on board the bus, which was on Manchester Road, at 10.45pm on June 12.
The 16-year-old was left with bruising to her face after the woman punched her for no reason, police said.
The woman was described as being approximately 18, of medium build.
She had dark hair in a pony tail and wore a dark jacket.
Sergeant Mark Baines urged anyone who witnessed the attack to contact police.
