PUBLIC Image Ltd will being their End of the World tour to Blackburn in September.
The band, fronted by former Sex Pistol John Lydon, are celebrating their 45th anniversary with a series of dates across the UK.
Widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential bands of all-time, PiL’s music has earned them five UK Top 20 singles and five UK Top 20 albums.
The band got back together after a 17 year break in 2009 and the current line-up of John Lydon, Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth, and Bruce Smith is the longest stable line-up in the band’s history.
Details of the tour were confirmed just days after it was announced that John Lydon’s wife Nora Foster had died, aged 80, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
