TWO men burgled an Oswaldtwistle house half an hour after the owner had gone out.
Hyndburn magistrates heard one of the thieves had phoned the householder and asked for a loan.
But when the request was refused and he and his accom-plice went to help themselves their actions were captured by a neighbour on a closed circuit TV system.
The householder was later able to identify the burglars from the footage which showed them using ladders to enter through a bedroom window.
Arshad Parvez, 35, of Exchange Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to burglary at a house in St Paul's Close.
He was committed on bail to Burnley Crown Court for sentence.
