A SPOT of rain did not stop large crowds flocking to the annual Longridge Field Day on Saturday.
And there were plenty of wacky and wonderful costumes on show to entertain those who had gathered along the field day route.
One field day participant dressed up as Bender, the foul-mouthed robot from cartoon series Futurama, while children from St Wilfrid's School provided a spectacle with their circus-themed float.
Longridge High School pupil Lucy Burn was crowned Longridge Field Day queen during the event and will represent the town for the forthcoming year.
