Police have arrested a person after a caravan was stolen.

The caravan was stolen in Yorkshire and was driven over the border into Lancashire

The vehicle was stung by officers on the A59 near Gisburn and the driver was arrested and sent back to north Yorkshire.

A police spokesperson said: “This caravan had just been stolen from North Yorkshire Police area.

“It entered Lancashire where it was picked up on the A59 near to Gisburn.

“The vehicle was stung before being stopped and the driver arrested. The prisoner is currently on his way back to North Yorkshire.”
