More than 100 guests turned out at the opening of a new Blackburn law firm last month.

Haris Law Solicitors hosted an opening event just ahead of Ramadan at their offices at Ramsgreave Business Park in Pleckgate Road.

The firm will specialise in family law and is being headed by 31-year-old Haris Qureshi from Blackburn, who was thrilled to open the law firm in his hometown.

He said: “It was a fantastic turnout at the launch event with colleagues, family and friends in attendance showing their support.

"There were a number of local solicitor firm owners also in attendance which was wonderful to see.

"We wanted to celebrate the launch of Haris Law Solicitors and could not have imagined it to have been with anyone else except those who have been instrumental in getting to this point.

"We had Perfect Pose with their 360 camera in attendance too who provided the afternoon entertainment and they were a hit."

Haris added: "Family Law more often than not is stressful and being involved in family disputes can take its toll on the most resilient of people.

"Our aim is to provide a one-to-one personalised service where we understand the needs of our clients. We will not bog you down with legal jargon."

Barrister Umar Shahzad, added: "What sets Haris Law Solicitors apart is our dedicated in-house barristers who provide input from the very beginning, thus ensuring case ownership and progression.

"Unlike other firms, who instruct advocates when the case is well underway, we understand the need for early intervention in identifying key issues, which saves time and expense in the long term."
