Two people have received conditional discharges after being convicted of drugs offences.
A 42-year-old woman who was found with three wraps of amphetamine at Lancaster station received a six month conditional discharge for drugs possession and was ordered to pay a £26 surcharge.
While a 31-year-old man who was found with 12 packets of diazepam and some pregabalin, also at Lancaster station, received a 12-month conditional discharge for drugs possession and had to pay a £22 surcharge.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: "Two drug possession cases have recently been concluded at court.
"In the first a 42-year-old female who was found with three wraps of amphetamine (class B), 8g, at Lancaster received a six-month conditional discharge and had to pay a £26 surcharge.
"In the second case, a 31-year-old male was found with 12 packets of diazepam and some pregabalin (both class C), also at Lancaster.
"He received a 12-month conditional discharge and had to pay a £22 surcharge."
