Drivers in and around Burnley will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for next week.

The closures are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

From 9pm Saturday, April 1, until 5am on April 4, there will be moderate delays on the M65 eastbound and westbound carriageways, between junctions seven to 10.

This is for lane closures and carriageway closures due to general maintenance works.

From 9pm April 4 to 5am April 6, there will be further moderate delays on the M65 eastbound and westbound carriageways between junction seven to eight.

This is for lane closures and carriageway closures due to general maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
