A man is to be sentenced after pleading guilty to making more than 300 indecent images of children.
Connor Smith, 23, appeared at Preston Crown Court earlier this week where he entered guilty pleas to three counts of making indecent images of children and one of possessing extreme pornographic images.
The individual charges relate to different categories of images. The first that Smith admitted to was making 19 category A images (the worst kind) on or around March 11 2021.
The second he pleaded guilty to was making 33 category B images on the same date.
And the third was making 287 category C images, on or around the same date.
He also admitted to possessing 42 extreme pornographic images.
Smith, of St John’s Road, Padiham, will be sentenced on June 13.
He was released on unconditional bail.
