An East Lancashire venue has launched an exciting programme of events for the Easter holidays for all the family to enjoy.

St Mary’s Chambers in Rawtenstall has a wonderful selection of Easter based shows and events to entertain the little ones over the Easter half term break.

The programme of events will begin on Tuesday, April 4, with an Easter Character Breakfast.

The fabulous mobile mini zoo, Little Zoo to You, will be at St Mary’s Chambers for a story time session filled with fun and excitement, telling the story of The Gruffalo with real life animals.

Children will also be able to meet the Easter Bunny and receive a free gift.

Breakfast will consist of American pancakes with additional toppings and bacon/sausage sandwiches (vegetarian options also available) and will also include one free tea or coffee per adult and a glass of juice per child.

Two sessions are available at 9.30am and 10.30am.

The fun then continues on Easter Sunday, April 9, with two performances of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland presented by the fabulous Just Imagine Theatre Company.

The classic tale will be turned on its head for an eggstravagant Easter egg hunt through the art of Musical Theatre.

A delightfully enchanting tale brought to life through the eyes of The Cheshire Cat and Miss Alice as they dazzle and bewilder audiences through the pairing of dance and rhyme.

Performances are at 11am (doors 10.30am) and 3pm (doors open at 2.30pm)

Following this, on Wednesday April 12, a brand new show set to sweep the nation comes to the venue.

Kips Party Live is a brand-new children's show which sees a cast embark on a journey to become the newest, hottest pop band on the scene, performing all the biggest, current, trending hits live, with a massive TikTok dance and sing-a-long section, finishing with one big disco.

With songs from artists such as Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and many more, plus audience participation and giveaways - this show is not to be missed.

The show begins at 6.30pm and doors open at 5.30pm.

The Easter programme of events then concludes on Thursday, April 13, with another Easter Character Breakfast.

The fabulous Little Zoo to You will head to St Mary’s Chambers again for anyone that missed out first time for another story-time session filled with fun and excitement.

Again, two sessions are available at 9.30am and 10.30am.
