A vehicle has been seized in Fleetwood after the driver assumed they could drive under their brother's policy.
Upon further investigation, police found that the brother did not actually have an insurance policy and seized the red Ford Fiesta.
The driver has been reported for summons.
A police force spokesperson said: "Vehicle stopped in Fleetwood.
"Driver assumed they were insured to drive with their brother's policy.
"Unfortunatley their brother didn't actually have an insurance policy.
"Driver reported for summons. Vehicle seized."
