Colne-based charity Pendle Dogs have a selection of pooches looking for their forever homes.

If you are looking for a new pet and think you’re able to rehome one of them, visit www.pendledogs.co.uk/our-dogs/ for full details and to find out more.

You can also donate to the charity to help them carry on their rescue work.

Prince

Lancashire Telegraph:

Prince is a young patterdale male who is around a year old. He can live with children aged five or older but cannot be placed where there are cats and other small animals.

He would need a dog-free home or one with a steady neutered female, is house trained and well-behaved, but does greet visitors in a “bouncy manner.”

Millie

Lancashire Telegraph:

Millie is a four-year-old miniature pinscher who suffered a terrible start to life after being left at the side of the road with injuries caused by being used for badger baiting.

She enjoys the company of children and adores other dogs.

Millie has facial injuries from her sad past but is described as “an adorable little girl” who “loves a cuddle and would sit on a knee all day long.”

Saxon

Lancashire Telegraph:

Saxon is a two-year-old German shepherd who is a “big, tough-looking boy” but who wants to please without the fear of any rough handling or negative consequences.

He would need an experienced home without children or cats and the charity are also welcoming enquiries from other dog organisations if they have a job for Saxon.

Milo

Lancashire Telegraph:

Milo is an eight-month old Mal cross breed who is well-trained and looking for an active pet home or a decent working home.

He is a “lovely young boy” who would need owners with experience of young dogs like him. He needs a home with no children or cats but could live with another steady dog.

Cleo

Lancashire Telegraph:

Cleo is an 11-month old small/medium cross breed who is in need of a special foster home.

She came into the charity’s care after her previous home struggled to meet her needs and she would need a quiet, confident, and experienced home with a large garden for her to exercise in.

It would need to be in Burnley or Pendle so the charity can help work alongside her foster home to build her confidence and focus.
