Two gravestones in the Muslim section of a cemetery have been damaged by vandals.
Officers were called to Scotforth Cemetery, Lancaster, to reports of criminal damage to graves.
Two Muslim gravestones were vandalised and a Star of David in black was spray painted on to them.
It is believed the damage was caused last weekend and police are appealing for witnesses and information.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting log 0596 of February 26.
