The family of a woman who was found dead in Cumbria has shared a touching tribute to their 'Burnley mad' daughter.
Bride-to-be Holly Lambert, 26, died after being found unresponsive in the early hours of February 20 in County Square, Ulverston, sparking a murder inquiry.
Holly’s dad Phil Lambert revealed she was a lifelong Burnley FC fan.
Phil wrote: “To our Burnley mad daughter, Holly.
“The moment that you left us our hearts were torn in two, one side filled with pain, the other side left with you.
"Remembering you will be easy, but missing you is a heartache that will never go away.
“We will never ever forget you. Once a Burnley fan always a Burnley fan.
“Until we meet again, sleep tight Holly Dolly.
“Love always, Dad, Karlie, Kai, Leo, and our dog called “Claret”, along with all of the hearts you touched in Barrowford.”
Holly’s devastated brother Ben Lambert described his late sister as ‘larger than life’ and ‘liked by everyone’.
A fundraiser has been launched to help give Holly the send-off she deserves.
The fundraiser has raised more than £2,000 thanks to kind-hearted donations.
Cumbria Police arrested three people on suspicion of murder in connection with Holly’s death, a 40-year-old woman and two men aged 28 and 61. All three have now been released on bail.
Detectives are appealing for the driver of a white-coloured saloon taxi that passed Coronation Hall onto New Market Street at 1.26am on February 20 to contact police as they may be able to help officers with their inquiries.
Officers remain keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what occurred or the moments leading up to it, as well as anyone else with information which may assist detectives.
