An event, with family entertainment, music and a light parade, is coming to Colne today.

Winter Bloom Light Parade kicks off in Colne town centre today (March 4) and it’s set to be a great day out for all the family.

From 12pm until 7pm people will receive entertainment from the Colne Blues Society and the kids can enjoy giant bubble displays from eBublio Magical Bubbles.

Market stalls, food and drink, children’s craft areas, face painting and more will also be available.

There will also be a window walk featuring artwork created by local children from various schools and groups across Colne.

Animal-lovers can also take a photo with a bird of prey, provided by Talons Falconry Charity.

The showstopping event, a light parade, will also kick off at 6.30pm from St John’s Church on Albert Street. It will end on Hartley Square.
