A bakery could be turned into a tattoo studio if plans are approved by the council.

Stephen Bear, who owns the Wolf and Raven Tattoo at 230 Union Road has applied to Hyndburn Council for permission to change the use of a bakery at 330 Union Road into a tattoo studio.

No structural changes will be needed to the building and Mr Bear already has a clinical waste licence, which he will carry over to this property.

The application was lodged last week but no other details have been submitted and there is no design and access statement to accompany the plans.

If approved, the shop will be open from 9am until 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am until 7pm on Saturdays and 10am until 6pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Hyndburn Council will make a decision in due course.
