Firefighters were called in the early hours of Friday morning (February 3) to a structural collapse in a commercial building.

At around 12.17am, three fire engines from Clitheroe and Nelson were called to Brennand Street, Clitheroe.

The command support unit from Blackburn, drone and USAR resources, were also called.

The incident involved structural collapse in a building and fire crews were in attendance for two hours.

 A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: “At 12:17pm on February 2 fire engines from Clitheroe and Nelson, the command support unit from Blackburn, drone and USAR resources were mobilised to Brennand Street, Clitheroe.

“The incident involved structural collapse in a commercial premises. Crews remained at scene for two hours.”
