Police have closed a road following a crash.
Officers are dealing with the incident on Tockholes Road and have closed the road from the junction at Old School Lane.
The crash has caused traffic backlog through the town and police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
The incident was a “minor injury collision” so no further details have been released.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Good afternoon, we’re currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Tockholes Road.
“The road is currently closed from the junction at Old School Lane.
“We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience.”
