A new coding school is set to open on Marlow High Street for kids and teenagers looking to prepare themselves for a digital future.

Logiscool will hold a launch event on Friday, February 6 at 6:30pm at their new site between HSBC and David Clulow.

A team of trained tutors will use a combination of play and theory to teach students about coding, 3D design, app creation and digital illustration

The school will offer a range of courses, holiday camps, workshops and special events.

Master Franchisee of Logiscool UK, Azra Jivraj said: “We are excited about bringing Logiscool to Marlow and look forward to welcoming children, young adults and parents to the school. We are all surrounded by screens and gadgets, but how many of us know about the technology used to create them?

"Our courses, camps and workshops have been developed to help students learn how computers work and think, and by doing this, we can empower them to become creators of technology, not just passive users.

"We are passionate about all things tech and are excited to inspire curious young minds in our Marlow and Wimbledon branches and across the UK as we expand.

"In 2022, Logiscool received three internationally recognized awards, including being named the Best by the European Franchise Awards, and we are determined to carry on this success.”

Logiscool’s co-founder and CEO, DrAnita Breuer said: “We’ve been looking for a Master Franchise partner in the UK for some time and are delighted to be working with Azra and her team.

"The opening of the Marlow site coincides with our ninth anniversary, so this is a landmark celebration in a new, key territory.

"We know there is a global appetite for tech learning and are looking forward to more Logiscool locations opening across the UK so that even more youngsters can be proactive in the digital age.”

The launch event will be attended by the mayor of Marlow, Cllr Richard Scott.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Logiscool to Marlow and are impressed with Azra’s vision for the business and desire to be part of the community.

"It’s fantastic that local families can tap into a resource that will give their children and young adults the skills they will undoubtedly need in the future.

"We wish them all the best, and who knows, we may have a Steve Jobs amongst us just waiting to be discovered.”
