A man was arrested after he was flagged up as 'wanted'.

On Saturday, January 7, British Transport Police officers arrested a man at Preston train station after a check showed a warrant for his arrest.

The man was wanted in connection with offences of driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance.

The warrant was issued by King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court in August 2021 and as a result, was arrested at the station yesterday.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police Lancashire said: “A male was arrested at Preston Station after a check showed a warrant for his arrest had been issued by King’s Lynn Magistrates’ Court in August 2021.

“He was wanted in connection with offences of driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance.

“Caught For Court.”
