A car was seized by police after the driver admitted he was too young to drive following a crash.
Police attended a crash near Barbara Castle Way in Blackburn yesterday (December 31) and when a driver was spoken to, they discovered he was too young to be driving.
The driver admitted to not having a licence or insurance.
A spokesperson for the police said: “This afternoon Team 1 officers have attended a RTC near to Barbara Castle Way.
“The driver was spoken too, he admitted to not having a driver licence or insurance because he is too young to have a driver’s licence or insurance.
“The driver’s safety and welfare was addressed and officers will be submitting the relevant paperwork for the multiple offences. Do you know what your child is doing?”
