Three East Lancashire MPs have received donations to cover the costs of work visits and support provided to them worth thousands of pounds in the last two months.

MPs are required to declare any gifts or extra payments they have received alongside their work in Parliament through the MP’s register of interests.

Items declared in November and December included trips to the USA and Scandinavia and support linked to an MP but received by their political party.

Jake Berry, Nigel Evans and Sara Britcliffe, all Conservatives, disclosed payments received in the final two months of 2022.

The three other East Lancashire MPs – Labour's Kate Hollern, and Antony Higginbotham and Andrew Stephenson, both Tories – did not make any declarations in November or December.
