RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on the provision of services in rural Pendle.
Pendle Council wants people to send in their views to finalise a council report looking at the provision of services in rural areas.
The survey also looked at the distances people have to travel to get these amenities.
All this information, along with population data, has been used to assess the potential to accommodate future growth.
The results are in the draft settlement hier-archy and sustainable rural settlements study, which will be used to help draw up planning policies for the Local Development Framework.
Copies are available at council shops and local libraries or can be viewed online at www.pendle.gov.uk/shsrs Comments, which must be received by 5pm on Monday July 21, can be emailed to ldf.consultation@pendle.gov.uk, faxed to 01282 661390.
