The New Inn dates back to the 1800s and we are a small community pub who love to give back to the community. We have raised money for various charities and also for a defibrillator outside the pub.

We have also donated Easter Eggs at Easter for a children’s hospital and also were doing the same with selection boxes this year

Is food served? Is so what’s on the menu?

No food

Is there a beer garden

Yes we have a beer garden and it holds about 90 people and during the summer it’s a great suntrap

We have two pool teams and a darts and dominoes team

Most popular drink served is:

All the draft sells well but I would say John Smiths, Fosters and Madri sell really well

Most memorable moment at the pub

This one is hard to choose as we have had some great moments at the pub but the one that stands out the most is the charity day that we had a few years ago for prostate cancer. There was all sorts of activities going on such as the hog roast in the beer garden a footy match, darts and pool competition. The landlord raffles had some great prizes and it was a fantastic day

Do you have an entertainment line-up?

Every Saturday night we have live entertainment on from solo’s duo’s and bands

Have you faced any challenges within the industry

Covid was bad. That was a challenge within itself it was hard for us seeing an empty pub every day
