JULIE Hesmondhalgh will be reading excerpts from her new book An Actor’s Alphabet: An A to Z of Some Stuff I’ve Learnt and Some Stuff I’m Still Learning at a special fundraising show at Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Centre.
The former Coronation Street and Broadchurch star will be raising money for Maundy Relief and the Civic Arts Centre, two causes which she regularly supports.
In her book, Accrington-born Julie draws on her decades of experience on stage and screen to lift the lid on the realities of life in today’s industry, and gives tips on how to navigate it.
As well as discussing her book, Julie will also be answering questions from the audience in this intimate venue.
