A new play centre will launch at a multi-million pound sports and community leisure facility.

The new FUNDA land will open at a former warehouse at Northlight Mill which has been transformed into a state of the art, 133,00 square foot leisure facility.

It presently offers a 3G outdoor seven a side pitch, indoor 4G, badminton, table tennis, pickle ball and state of the art cricket facilities.

Additionally the Leisure Box also boasts the largest 'Clip and Climb' in East Lancashire.

FUNDA currently provides holiday camps, childcare, nursery, school provision and physical education PE curriculums to help children to get active.

Founder of FUNDA, Kieran Fletcher, said “I’m excited to get going with our expansion and the vision for FUNDA LAND.

Chief executive of Burnley FC in the Community, Dr Sara Ward, said: “This facility really is outstanding, and now we’re fully open without restrictions it’s time to put The Leisure Box on the map.

"We’ve partnered with FUNDA so they can develop the current Indoor Soft Play, Gym, and former Dance studio with a the Childcare expertise FUNDA brings.

"Kieran the founder of FUNDA has some really exciting plans and I’m sure FUNDA will be a fantastic partner for Burnley FC in the Community."

Kieran said: “We also have plans to launch a Peadiatric Physiotherapy, SEND and NHS referals hub to support children and young peoples physical, emotional, social, nutrition and mental health, this is a real passion of mine.

"We will also be enhancing our FUNDA birthday parties here as they are always the best parties in town”.

FUNDA Land is scheduled to open in early December.
