A MAN was seen walking in and out of traffic after leaving Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Blackburn magistrates heard Luke Threlfall was "highly intoxicated" and had a bottle of vodka in his hand.
Threlfall, 27, of Walmsley Street, Rishton, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on Shadsworth Road.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £26 victim surcharge.
Bilal Saed, prosecuting, said when police arrived Threlfall refused to listen to them and was abusive.
Threlfall, who was not represented, said he had voluntarily referred to Inspire, the drink and drug support agency.
