A new restaurant offering a selection of savoury and sweet afternoon tea packages has opened at Boundary Outlet in Colne.

The Hive restaurant offers a contemporary and relaxed environment for shoppers who want the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day of shopping.

The restaurant, at Boundary Outlet in Vivary Way, Colne, opened on Monday, October 31, and has been busy since then with multiple bookings during peak times every day.

The launch menu offers freshly prepared soups, salads, cold open and hot sandwiches as well as savoury and sweet afternoon tea packages.

Breakfast is also served from 10am to 11.30am offering continental breakfast, porridge, toast, eggs benedict, hot breakfast sandwiches and more.

Served from 11.30am to 6.45pm on Monday to Saturday and 11.30am to 3.45pm on Sunday, the items on the dinner menu are reasonably priced between £7 to £12.50.

Savoury and sweet afternoon tea is available to order Monday to Saturday and is £16.50 per person, which gets you a sausage roll or scotch egg, half of an open sandwich, a fruit scone with clotted cream and jam and a slice of cake.

Tea or coffee is served but you can also enjoy a glass or bottle of prosecco with your friends or family. Soft drinks, bottled beers, gin and tonic, and wine is also included on the drinks menu.

The Hive also offers a children’s lunch board where kids can choose their own meal deal for £4.50.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Boundary Outlet Colne, behind Beauty Outlet on the left-hand wing.

Boundary Outlet has three other cafes and restaurants to choose from including Banny’s British Kitchen located next to the outlet, Bannisters Restaurant & Afternoon Tea on the ground floor at the front of the Colne store, BB’s Café, and Ricardo’s Ice Cream.
