A highly-anticipated event returned to East Lancashire earlier this month – can you spot yourself in the photos?

The Ribble Valley Scooter Rally, which is held in Clitheroe, returned on September 23.

The annual three-day event saw a scooter ride-in and performances from live bands and DJs across the town.

The free event celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, delighting visiting crowds and families from across the county and beyond.

Hundreds of scooter-riders took over the town, many of whom were dressed in parka jackets, zoot suits and mod regalia.

Pubs, including So Bar, The White Lion and more, also took part in the event, throwing their doors open to the public with live music and speciality cocktails on sale.

The Rose and Crown Hotel, on Castle Street, said: “To say the town centre was absolutely packed for the annual Ribble Valley Scooter Rally was underestimated. What a fantastic day all round.”

Paul Hacker said he was “glad to be part of the weekend”.

He said: “I’ve never met such lovely people.”

David French said: “What a fantastic weekend, roll on next year.”

Lee Batts said: “Hats off to all the bands and artist you had us bouncing all weekend!”

Keith Gilbert said: “Great weekend yet again well done Paul and crew for organising a belter. Great ride-in and fab weather.”

Harv Allan said: “Absolutely thumping weekend. Thank you Paul for an epic event and for having me over to gig for all you fine people, loved it.

“Banging weekend, stand easy until next year, same place, same time!”

Dave Pinder said: “Can't get over the incredible turnout, great weekend, as always."

Paul 'Derbo' Derbyshire, one of the event’s organisers, said the event is set to take place again in 2023 with dates to be confirmed closer to the time.
