A car overturned following a crash at a busy junction in Blackburn on Saturday.
The two-car collision happened at around 3pm at the Montague Street and Barbara Castle Road junction.
One car had flipped on to its roof following the incident, which also led to damage to the crash barriers opposite the Charcoal Cuisine takeaway.
Fire and ambulance services were at the scene.
Traffic was stopped for a period but police had later cordoned off the scene and traffic was able to make their past on to Montague Street and Barbara Castle Way.
An officer at the scene said that two vehicles were involved in the crash, but the motorists suffered only minor injuries.
The occupants were out of the vehicles following the collision.
Cllr Hussain Akhtar said: “I just passed the collision earlier there seems to be a lot of damage to both the vehicles and to the crash barriers nearby.
"It did not look good at all.
“Hopefully, everyone is okay.
“This is a very busy junction and a lot of traffic passes by.”
There was slow moving traffic on adjoining streets such as Johnson Street as well as Montague Street itself.
