TRIBUTES have been paid to a young dad after he was found hanging at his Bacup home.

Bradley Landers, 25, was discovered by his five-months pregnant girlfriend Hayley Muircroft early on Monday morning, at the home they shared in East View.

Bradley already had a child from a previous relationship, two-year-old son Tommy.

The former pupil of All Saints Catholic Language College, Rawtenstall, has been described as "a lovely lad who always had time for people".

Bradley's aunt, Geraldine Hastings, said the family was still in shock.

She said: "We all thought the world of him.

"It's a week or two since I saw him last, but he appeared to be his normal self. There was nothing wrong that we knew of."

Self-employed Bradley had studied at college, and was a plasterer working all over Rossendale.

Assistant head teacher of All Saints College, Elizabeth Woolley, said the teachers were in shock when they found out.

She said: "We're all really saddened by it because we all have really fond memories of him. He was a very lively lad, full of life.

"Everyone knew him and he was well- liked by both teachers and pupils.

"We contacted some teachers who have left in the last few years because we knew they'd want to know.

"If you think of Bradley, it puts a smile on your face."

Bradley's funeral, which is being arranged by Knight and Boys Funeral Service, Stacksteads, will be held on Friday, May 2 at the Chapel of Rest, Newchurch Road, Stacksteads, followed by a service at Burnley Crematorium.
