A MAN has appeared in court accused of assault.
Ian Parry, 48, of Pennine Road, appeared at Burnley Crown Court, accused of eight allegations of assault causing actual bodily harm.
The defendant will face trial on August 18 and a pre-trial review has been fixed for August 5.
He was bailed on condition he lives at his home address, does not use telephones and does not contact the alleged victim.
