A FEATURE wicker model is to be bought for the memorial garden in Stubbins.
Stubbins Residents Association raised the £361 needed for the Bolton Road North garden at a quiz night last Friday.
Over 80 people took part in the event at St Philip's Church hall.
Coun Darryl Smith said: "The evening was extremely successful both in terms of people enjoying themselves and in raising funds for the North West in Bloom competition entry - including a feature wicker model for the memorial garden.
"A special thank you needs to be extended to members of the committee who helped make the night a resounding success."
