A WOMAN beaten up by her drunken partner was found sobbing uncontrollably and with blood trickling from her nose by police.
Burnley magistrates heard how Christian Haworth, 34, had grabbed victim Kelly Talbot by the neck, pinned her against a wardrobe and hit her across the face.
He then dragged her across the room by her hair, pulled her downstairs by her hair, threw her on the floor in the living room and flung the computer chair at her.
Haworth, of St James Street, Bacup, admitted assault causing actual bodily harm.
He was given 120 days in prison, suspended for two years, with supervision and the community domestic violence programme.
He must also pay £160 compensation and £75 costs.
