Blackburn's celebration of a Saint

SCOUTS and Guides in Blackburn took part in their annual St George's parade yesterday.

The youngsters marched from Corporation Park to the town centre, and held a service in the King George's Hall.

Scouts and Guides throughout the UK traditionally pay tribute to England's patron saint ahead of St George's Day, on April 23.
