Children in care in Lancashire have been given a pocket money rise.
Youngsters being looked after by Lancashire County Council are given a weekly amount, depending on their age, and presents at Christmas and on their birthday.
Bosses have agreed to raise the amount given out by 3.3 per cent, in line with inflation.
Pocket money ranges from £3.30 per week for under fours, up to £13.30 for over 16s.
Birthday gifts range from £43 to £85, and Christmas gifts from £85 up to £169.
