AN East Lancashire majorettes troupe has cause for celebration after gaining scooping trophies at a UK dance competition.
Blackburn-based Onyx Majorettes competed against 12 groups in the Premier Dance Association competition.
The junior and senior groups took 1st place in their categories.
Dinkies and Tinies won 3rd and the babies won 2nd place and best leader.
The seniors won best leader and mascot.
Competing last Sunday, at Prestatyn Pontins, the teams took on groups from all across the country.
The results were so good that the tinies, juniors and seniors have been moved to Division One for the next competition.
Majorette coach Mandy Hartley said the girls were looking forward to competing at a higher level.
The next competition is on Saturday at Rockferry, Merseyside.
