A 12 year-old boy was kicked and punched to the ground as he was mugged for his mobile phone.
The youngster was walking along Belvedere Road, Burnley, at 5.20pm on Saturday when he was approached by two teenage boys who asked him the time. As he went to check it on his mobile the boys tried to grab it.
The 12-year-old ran off down Leyland Road but was chased by the robbers who hit and knocked to the ground before stealing the phone and running off.
One robber was an Asian male, aged 15, slim, with short gelled hair. The second was Asian, aged 14, and was wearing a white and blue striped top. Call police on 01282 425001.
