A GREEN group had to cancel an event to highlight the government's failure to tackle climate change because of access problems.
Friends of the Earth said Saturday's event was cancelled because they could not get into the bandstand because of a continental market set up in James Street, Burnley.
Avril Hesson, of Friends of the Earth, said: "I am very disappointed but we did not want to compromise safety.
"We will be doing it on another date, which has yet to be determined."
